Hi Pallav -

My apologies for the delay.

Ben Rubin (@bsrubin), cofounder & CTO, wrote a blog post about how Zeo works (from sensors to output) here: http://bit.ly/7yD2YF

All three sensors are involved in collecting a variety of signals mentioned in that post.

Also, we (and third parties) have done validation/accuracy studies with Zeo, PSG and Actigraphy. The results are consistent across the studies; you can find our posters here: http://www.myzeo.com/pages/52_for_health_professionals.cfm#Validations

Thanks for the questions and for following up.

Regards,
-Derek (@Zeo)

Derek,

Thanks for the comment. I did have a specific question- there seem to be three sensors in the headband. Are all 3 doing EEG? If not, what are the other two for? Just curious as to how this technology compares to standard EEG.

Best,
~Pallav

Hey Pallav -

Great post. And I'm not just saying that because it's about Zeo. You understand what Zeo is (and what it is not), and come to the conclusion about individual health empowerment that's right on.

Qanta Ahmed talks more about that last point here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/qanta-ahmed/be-your-own-sleep-special_b_442802.html - thought you might be interested.

Thanks for the post. Let me know if you have any questions about Zeo (or sleep).
